F.A.Q.
We’ve got answers to your questions!
Our Products
We source only the finest ingredients for all our products. Our suppliers must hold all necessary certifications and adhere to the strictest industry standards for quality, including those for our meats, vegetables, and spices. Compromising on quality? Never.
While many of our products are gluten-free, we cannot certify all of them because certain ingredients used in other products do contain gluten.
All our products, including our Paris Pâté recipes, are made with premium quality ingredients from suppliers who meet the highest industry standards. We never compromise on the freshness of our ingredients.
Our products can be found in major grocery banners across Quebec, including Metro, IGA, IGA Extra, Super C, Maxi, Maxi & Cie, Provigo, Walmart, Dollarama, Loblaws, as well as in major banners in the rest of Canada and the United States. To find out about product availability and selection, we encourage you to contact your local supermarket.
Most of our products do not contain any preservatives. Our sterilization cooking method eliminates the need for them. However, it must be noted that some ingredients used in our products do contain them.
Still prepared in our facilities, our meatballs were originally hand-rolled by hardworking women. We modernized our meatball production over 50 years ago but one thing has never changed: our meatballs have always been made with the highest quality meat.

Our Can
Canned food is widely recognized as one of the best and most natural ways to preserve freshness and quality. It’s a myth to believe that this is due to the addition of preservatives.
Thanks to its practicality and reliability, the canned food preservation method remains a preferred choice for those seeking to keep their products fresh and tasty for long periods without compromising their quality. What’s more, it’s the oldest preservation method; the one used by our grandmothers.
Canned goods are without doubt one of the most ecological food packaging options.
Our canned products are 100% recyclable, from the can itself to the label. As for our products packaged in plastic, both the container and the lid can be reused or recycled.
It is worth noting that cans are not only 100% recyclable but also indefinitely recyclable as the material can be recycled repeatedly without losing its properties and technical performance.

Our Certifications
Quality and food safety are top priorities for everyone at Cordon Bleu.
We have implemented a quality system that meets the SQF standard (Safe Quality Food for Manufacturing), in addition to rigorously following the CFIA’s Canadian Food Safety Regulations (SFCR) and FDA and USDA regulations.
We are committed to maintaining this system in our facilities, as well as complying with the regulatory requirements of the Canadian and American governments, where we export our products.
The company is committed to not only complying with but exceeding established quality standards through the continuous improvement of its food safety management system.
We believe that such a high commitment to quality must be backed up by prestigious and well-known certifications.
The “Aliments préparés au Québec” logo appears on products that are entirely processed and packaged in Quebec, using local and/or imported ingredients. In addition, it means using Quebec sourced ingredients, whenever possible, if they are available in sufficient quantities.
